I can count on my fellow Americans to let me down about 90% of the time. That gives me some pain relief but does not quell the nauseaus feeling in my gut. But what else can one expect from the consumer cu ...

617 [lbo-talk] the baby's blood -- rank: 1000
Jimmy Breslin March 30, 2003 The least blood, a small squirt when removing a needle, two drops, that's all, no more than two drops, and suddenly it is everywhere. It remains after all. Wipe and it returns. Look about and it is in two and three places. Wipe those places and the blood does not go away. Two drops appear as a needle comes out and then it is endless. Blood from the body of a baby bombed to death in Baghdad, blood by the pint, running onto the street as fast as a swift river, has magi ...

618 [lbo-talk] Bush, Barbarity, Daisy Cutters -- rank: 1000
According to Bush this war is neccessary to prevent Iraq from using "weapons of mass destruction." This, of course, is BS and not surprisingly the US has upped its use of WMDs in the course of this invasion. The giant "daisy-cutter" bombs that obliterate life within three-tenths of a mile in every direction from where they touch the ground are now being used in Iraq. Perhaps after the GENERALS criticized Rumsfeld's low troop strategy????? Excerpts from an article in the April ...

621 "Bad" Mothers: The Politics of Blame Re: Radio Doug -- rank: 1000
There is a thing called short term memory loss. People who have brain damage often have it. So do people with fibromyalgia and other conditions. Lots of times people are not diagnosed with these conditions and they are sent to the shrink by their incompetent physicians who do not give a proper diagnosis. Short term memory loss is physiological in origin so I think you have to be careful here. Marta >On Mon, 31 Mar 2003, RE wrote: > >> In sessions >> I've had patients broach ...
