61 [lbo-talk] Wish I Was In Dixie (Re: The North's burden ofenlightening the South (was Re: The "NAFTA Superhighway" Urban Myth) -- rank: 1000
I'm from the South. When I moved to LA some 30 years ago I was astounded at what a segregated city it is. It still is. I had never experienced that in my 26 years of living in the deep South. I think bigotry can be expanded to having geographical bias. Kind of thou know not of what of one speaks. I get sick of hearing about th ...

I'm not sure what you mean by "origin" but it arose out of the Nazi's hatred and disgust for disabled people -- not the supermen they thought they were. They were committing eugenicide after birth. 68 [lbo-talk] who can get access? -- rank: 1000
Listers, In the middle of a HOA dispute over water damage here. Due to an underhanded BOD things have gotten nasty. Is it possible for a lawyer (BOD - the kind that give lawyers a bad reputation) to get access to one's phone records like calls made and calls received? I thought this was something only police could do or get thro a subpoena signed by a judge. Anyone know? And secondly, how would one go about trying to find out if one's phone has been bugged? And thirdly, there are audio d ...

69 [lbo-talk] tracking our cash -- rank: 1000
Freedom to Fascism is being offered at KPFK as a fundraiser bonus as part of the Fight Fascism pack. I just listened to a portion about how the federal reserve is going to set up the technological means to track any cash spent so that the anonymity of buying with cash will disappear. They will be able to follow each bill as to who has it where it gets spent. Anyone hear anything about this? Marta
