I didn't know this: the exit pollsters adjust their results as official vote counts come in. So that exit poll showing Kerry ahead in Ohio at 12:21 AM that turned into Bush ahead at 1:41 AM was probably altered to conform to the vote count. So much for the checking function... Doug
