I just got a review copy of the book Blog!, by David Kline and Dan Burstein. Burstein, who does the Secret of the Code thing, published a book called Yen! around 1989 that predicted that Japan would take everyone over, just before the Nikkei peaked. A couple of years later he wrote a book called Euroquake (no !), inspired by the 1992 single market hype, predicted it would be Europe's turn, just as European growth was turning towards 0. Now he's co-authored Blog! Draw your own conclusions. Doug
